Who it’s for
Pick your seat. We’ll take it from there.
Three kinds of instructor come to Inspire. Each gets a different plan, the same plain-English delivery.
Stop guessing what the examiner wants.
Your trainee licence clock is ticking, in-car training is expensive, and every trainer says something different. Only 27.8% pass the Part 3 first time and most of the fails are not about knowledge; they are about not understanding how the lesson is marked.
- The 17 competencies explained in plain language, with what “good” looks like on the road
- The 9½ Simple Steps route map, so you always know what to work on next
- Coaching on recordings of your real lessons, and mock Part 3 walkthroughs
- Live Zooms and a private group with instructors who have just been through it
Inside the membership
One membership. Everything we know.
Trainees get the route to a first-time pass. Qualified instructors get sharper, calmer and busier. Everyone gets the same two trainers in their corner.
27 courses. 58+ Zoom recordings. 100+ hours.
Every course we have ever built, from the 9½ Simple Steps to Pass Your Part 3 to the GDE Matrix, Levels of Instruction and Active Listening, plus the full vault of recorded live sessions. Watch at your pace, on any device.
Live Zooms every fortnight
Turn up with a question or just listen. Every session is recorded and added to the vault the same day.
Regular Q&A with Phil and Diana
Bring the lesson that went wrong. Leave with a plan for the next one.
21 real lessons, reviewed
Watch Diana and Phil break down real lessons from real members so you can see what “good” looks like, minute by minute.
Private members’ community
A closed Facebook group of working PDIs and ADIs. Ask anything, share test centre news, celebrate passes.
Business growth training
Pricing, diary management, marketing and scaling. CPD that puts money back in the account.
New workshops every month
The library grows with the industry. If the DVSA changes something, we cover it that month.
Less than £1 a day. One extra lesson a month more than covers it. Most members earn it back on the first Zoom.

Join the free communityHow it works
Simple. Relatable. Actionable.
That is the Inspire promise. Here is what it looks like from the day you join.
- 01
Start your free trial
Two minutes to sign up. You are inside the library, the live calendar and the community straight away. No sales call, no waiting for a “welcome pack”.
- 02
Follow the plan for your seat
PDIs start on the 9½ Simple Steps. ADIs start with Standards Check prep and the lesson reviews. Both get the fortnightly live Zoom on the calendar.
- 03
Bring your real lessons
This is where it clicks. Bring the roundabout that went wrong or the pupil who will not talk. Leave with something to try on Monday.
- 04
Pass. Then keep going.
The Part 3 or Standards Check is the milestone, not the finish line. Members stay for the CPD, the business training and the people.
Your trainers
Two instructors who still teach every week.
Not ex-examiners reading from the guidance. Two working ADIs who sit in the passenger seat with real pupils, then show you what they learned.

Co-founder · ADI since 2006 · runs a Devon driving school
Phil Cowley
Twenty years teaching learners, and a decade training the people who teach them. Phil still runs a busy driving school in South Devon, so nothing he teaches is theoretical. Hosts the Inspire podcast, obsessed with CPD in coaching, business and mindset.

Co-founder · ADI since 2021 · trains instructors nationally
Diana Todd
A global training background and a fresh approach to the industry. Diana qualified in 2021 with a Grade A and has since supported hundreds of instructors nationally. No pre-built lesson plans, just a bespoke method that fits the person in front of her.

Why a membership
The honest comparison nobody else will show you.
Big training companies sell a package and disappear. Free Facebook groups argue. Inspire sits in the middle: expert, ongoing and cheap enough to keep.

The Scaling Board · in-car tool
Feedback fades. Visible progress sticks.
A magnetic 1-to-10 board that lives on the dash. The pupil picks where they are now and where they want to be, and the conversation runs itself. Built by Inspire, used on Part 3s, Standards Checks and everyday lessons.
- · Pupil-selected scoring, so ownership is theirs from the start
- · Builds on positives, then agrees one small next step
- · Works for reflection at the end of every lesson
Less than a single one-hour lesson.
The podcast
61 episodes of free CPD.
Guests, PDIs, examiners’ mindsets and the odd argument. Rated 5.0 on Apple Podcasts. New episodes land most weeks.

Questions instructors actually ask.
Both. Trainees use it to pass the Part 3 with a clear plan. Qualified instructors use it for Standards Check preparation, CPD and business growth. The live sessions and the community are shared, which is exactly how trainees pick up how experienced instructors think.
